Orchid De Villa was established by entrepreneur Mr Liew Fook Fah in 1995 with an area of 12 acres.

The Villa aims to promote agrotourism by cultivating a living encyclopaedia of plants and flowers here in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Along with conducting guided tours of the orchid collection housed at the Villa, we also plant commercial hybrid orchids and provide cut orchids to the local florists in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

We welcome school groups, religious bodies, clubs, or people who would like to find a retreat away from their busy lives.

If you are a student of botany interested in a homestay on a voluntary basis, just write to us stating your educational background and intended length of stay. We will be happy to accommodate your food and lodging in exchange for conducting odd jobs around the farm.
